Marguerite Sheridan Obituary: Marguerite “Peggy” Louise Sheridan, née Schoonover, of London, Ohio peacefully passed away at her daughter’s residence surrounded by family and her kitty-babies on November 4th, 2023, at the age of 83.

She was born in Washington, DC on December 11th, 1939. She was a wonderful mother and educator who cared passionately for her family and her students. She received her Master of Arts in Special Education from West Virginia University on May 17th, 1987. She was a prolific surrealist artist who was inspired by her unique view of life. She was also an accomplished equestrian who loved listening to Leonard Cohen and Zydeco music. She traveled extensively, living in West Virginia, New Mexico, Alabama, and Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Marie Schoonover, née Preysz, and her father Paul E. Schoonover. Marguerite is survived by her daughter Tara Marie Sheridan, her daughter Shawna Bouillet, and Shawna’s husband Max W. Bouillet. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Derek Bouillet and Joshua Bouillet. As per Marguerite's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. Instead, her ashes will be spread at cherished locations in the United States and Canada.

The family requests that, instead of flowers, please donate to a feral cat or no-kill shelter in her name. The family would also like to thank the wonderful caregivers at Ohio's Hospice for their support.
