Obituary
Martha Elaine Penix, 86, of London, died Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at the Brookdale Pinnacle of Grove City. Mrs. Penix was born September 20, 1936, in London, Ohio, the daughter of William and Maybel (Ackerman) Londergan.
She was a very active member of the Saint Patrick Church in London where she a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and had taught C.C.D. classes for several years. She had learned to enjoy Tole painting. She worked for the Census Bureau and several health care programs, in which she became an administrator. Elaine was a member of the Sorority Society and loved playing bridge at the Senior Citizen Center in London.
She is survived by her sons: Chris (Linda) Penix of London; Dooder (Susan) Penix of Hilliard; Markus Penix of London; brother: David “Butch” Londergan of South Carolina; grandchildren: Brittani Penix Farthing, Ryver Penix, Christian Penix, Jordan Penix, and Lauren Penix; shas been preceded in death by her parents and her husband William “Bill” Penix.
