Obituary

Maxine (Nee) Hutchins, 89, of 5 McDaniel Court;

London, Ohio, Peacefully passed away on June 8th at her residence.

Maxine was born March 24th, 1933, to Henry Howell and Ella Roberta (Tresler) Mahaney in Silver Grove Kentucky.

Maxine graduated from Silver Grove High School in 1950 and was rank 2nd in her class with high skills in Science and Mathematics.

Maxine met Charles Hutchins in High School and later married him in 1952. Maxine was a dedicated Housewife, Mother, and Grandmother. Her passions included Reading 1-2 novels a month, Cooking, Baking, Canning, and remedies. You could always count on her to provide you with old fashion remedies for colds, flu, bee stings, or anything else that was ailing you. They always worked.

Maxine's father was a 50-year veteran of the C&O railroad which is why she always loved to hear or see a train. We would stop with her to watch the Caboose go by hoping to see our grandfather.

Maxine had 5 children, Leta, Debbie, Roger, Jeff, and Carey.

Maxine was an extremely kind and sweet woman who welcomed anyone for a conversation or to provide some insightful experience.

Maxine was preceded in death by her father Henry Howell Mahaney, her mother Ella Roberta Mahaney, loving husband Charles R. Hutchins, and her sisters Betty Jacobs and Joanna Edgley. She is survived by her daughters: Leta (Adron) Combs (Defiance, Ohio), Debbie (Brian) Vassallo (Mechanicsburg, Ohio), sons: Charles Roger II (Bonnie) Hutchins (Ft.
