Richard E. Scott

Richard E. Scott, 75, of New Port Richey, Florida, formerly of London, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in his residence. Richard was born July 5, 1942 in Marion, Ohio, a son of Richard A. and Genneva (Mason) Scott. His family was the most important part of his life. He was a master craftsman, loved Gunsmoke, and old American cars. Richard is survived by his wife of 56 years: Phyllis (Baker) Scott; sons: Jim (Jana) Scott of Grove City; Mike (Nicole) Scott of Powell, Ohio; sisters: Marcia Kirt; Judy Reeves, both of London; Pam (Max) Stortz of Grove City; grandchildren: Diane Scott, Makenzie Scott, Carson Scott, Madison Scott, Payton Scott, and Sydney Scott; great grandchildren: Lily Mumaw and Luke Hay; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his: parents; brothers: Philip and Mike. A funeral service will be held at the Rader-Lynch & Dodds Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 E. High St., London, Tuesday, May 1, 2018, 1:00 PM. with the Reverend Dortha Ross officiating. The family invites friends to call at the funeral home Tuesday from 11 AM. until the start of the funeral service. Interment service will follow the funeral at the Somerford Township Cemetery.
