Sandy L. (Edmiston) McSeveney

Sandy L. McSeveney, 80, 0f London, died Monday, September 19, 2022, in her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Sandy was born October 16, 1941, in Buckhannon, West Virginia, the daughter of Matt and Mildred (Wharton) Edmiston.

Sandy graduated from Buckhannon High School in 1959. She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church, London. She was a member of the Eagles Aerie #950, London, and the London Country club. Sandy had been employed at BCI, London, for 26 years, and two years with the FBI in Washington, DC, prior to that.

Her children survive Sandy, Russell G. McSeveney II of London; Matthew C. McSeveney of Hilliard; Andrea Fugate; Sean (Melanie) McSeveney, all of London; sisters: Linda (Darrel) Tenney of Williamsburg, Virginia; Pam Allman of Buckhannon, West Virginia; Cyndi Edmiston of Martin, Georgia; Beth (Will) Mansfield of Plainsboro, New Jersey.; sister-in-law: Dixie Warren of West Point, Kentucky; grandchildren: Jordan Fugate, Kyle (Kayla)McSeveney, Kristine (Kyle) Smith, Kelsey (Chris) Slane, Shannon (Jared) Ropp, Brooke McSeveney, Paige McSeveney, and Marissa McSeveney; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family invites friends to call at the First Presbyterian Church, 211 Garfield Avenue, London, Friday, September 23, 2022, from 4-7 pm, with a memorial service to follow, officiated by Reverend Desiree Youngblood.
