Tommy Lee Alexander, 86 of Bellefontaine, Ohio died Sunday, May 9, 2021, in Logan Acres Senior Community. Born November 6, 1934, in Logan County Ohio of the late Foster and Maud (Osborn) Alexander. Tom married Carolyn (Blackwell) Alexander June 13, 2001. Children: Michele Alexander Bush, Sharon Alexander both of London. Vernon (Gary Lewis) of Columbus and Jason Alexander of London. Step Children: Bonnie (David) Wilson of Bellefontaine, Jeannie (Troy) Dempster of Indian Lake, and Keith (Diana) Harman of Bellefontaine. Grandchildren: Justin (Jordan) Bush of Cape Coral, FL. Adam (Amy) Hutson of London, Alexis (Nicholas) Caines of Columbus, Kyle Bush of Columbus, and Gabrielle (Brandon) Butts of London. Step Grandchildren: Adam Warner, Angela Jutte, Sarah (Brian) Ludwig, Gage & Brayden Dempster, Jessie Harman, Kelly Wilson, Lydia, and Craig Harman. Great Grandchildren: Halley, Riley & Mia Caines, Noah & Xander Hutson, Teagyn & Talyn Bush, and Kiana Butts. Step Great Grandchildren: Bentley Warner, William Ludwig, Amira Chism. Sisters: Jeannine Elleman & Mary Hall of Bellefontaine and Sue Alexander of Accident, MD. Brother: William “Bud” (Judy) Alexander of Bellefontaine. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Tom graduated from North Lewisburg High School in 1952 and is an Army Veteran. He worked construction and for the Pennsylvania Railroad prior to beginning his 30 year career with the Madison County Health Department in London, Ohio from 1960-1990. He also owned and operated Extermital Termite Service from 1966-1996. Tom played Men’s softball for several years and was a member of the Men’s Bowling League for 20 years. He was an avid game hunter, mushroom hunter and fisherman for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years Freda Faye (Smith) Alexander on February 28, 1998, and a brother James Alexander. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM. Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at the Somerford Cemetery, London, with Doctor Teena Gallagher officiating.
